Lewis Insurance was founded in 1947 and is still owned and operated by the Lewis family. We are based in Central California, the Dairy Capital of the World, and we specialize in providing dairy insurance in California, Arizona and New Mexico.
We offer all lines of insurance as well as financial planning and investment consulting for individuals and businessowners. We are also owner/members of an insurance marketing company called Sierra Gateway Insurance Services, Inc. with 8 members and operate an Excess and Surplus Lines agency in Sacramento called Prowest Insurance Services. These two companies help us provide a wide selection of insurers and programs rivaling the capabilities of national brokerage houses. But we still deliver service like a neighborhood agency.
Jerry Lewis -
Partner/ Senior Account Exec
Jerry joined the agency in 1980 and became a partner in 1983. He acheived an Agriculture & Farm Insurance Specialist desgination in 2007. Jerry is also on the Board of Directors for our marketing group Sierra Gateway Insurance Services, Inc.
Karla Baker -
Account Executive
Karla began working for the agency in October 1984 in the personal lines dept. She managed the personal lines dept for many years before moving over to the sales side in October 2000. She maintains her insurance education by attending continuing education seminars as required by the state of California and company sponsored meetings.
Tiffany McClure -
Account Executive
Tiffany has been employed with Lewis Insurance Agency since 1994. She has experience in both commercial as well as personal lines, was an account rep in both departments before becoming an Account Exec in late 2005. She also has her Agribusiness & Farm Insurance Specialist designation.
Helter Martins -
Account Executive
Helter joined the us in 2007 after a long career in the agency business. His specialties are farm and personal insurance. He has been active in the community throughout his career
Chris Davidson -
Commercial Account Rep - M/Z
Chris has been working in the industry since 1988 where she was licensed in PC & Life with the J.C. Penney Co. She began working for Lewis Insurance in 1989 in the Exeter office doing Commercial Lines. Seven years later she moved over to the Tulare office and has had the opportunity to work Personal Lines, Claims, and now specializing in Commercial Lines insurance.
Sonia Garcia -
Commercial Account Rep - A/L
Sonia has been in insurance and licensed since 2000. She started in Personal Lines and from then on has held both personal and commercial account rep positions as well as some work in claims. She has attended many marketing, management, Personal Lines and Commercial Lines Classes including completion of the CISR designation series. She is looking forward to obtaining her CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in the future.
